Other Significant Projects

Incentive Agreements. Representation of numerous projects in obtaining economic incentive agreements with Pasco County and other jurisdictions to incentivize project with large-scale job creation and positive economic impact

  • SR 56 Extension.  Represented owner of River Landings MPUD, which is among a group of 3 landowners, in innovative partnership with FDOT and Pasco County that extended SR 56 from Meadow Pointe to US 301 in a single-phase, 4-lane stretch of road that is over 6.1 miles long.
  • Northeast Pasco Special Area Plan and Ordinance. Represented a group of large landowners for over a decade to ensure fair treatment under special area plan, special comprehensive plan and ordinance provisions.
  • Timber Oaks.  Represented master association in innovative three-party settlement with owner of former golf course in center of community that will be purchased by the County and developed for stormwater ponds in flood-prone area and which will involve an assessment imposed against owners in association on favorable terms.
  • Large-Scale Land Use Amendments.  Numerous large-scale and small-scale comprehensive plan amendments in a variety of jurisdictions, including Pasco County, Dade City, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey and Port Richey.
  • Rezonings, Site Plan Approvals, Conditional Use and Other Permits.  Frequent representation of clients before Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, Planning Commission and Development Review Committee.
  • Code and Comprehensive Plan Drafting.  Frequently participation in the re-drafting of the Pasco County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code.
  • Administrative Hearings.  Representation of clients in various administrative matters and hearings, including two administrative challenges to Pasco County Comprehensive Plan.
